The Land Cruiser Prado features a Toyota-lettered grille and slimline three-bulb LED headlamp unit. A bold, squared-off silhouette and bonnet featuring a scooped-out centre prioritises functionality by making it easier to recognise the vehicle’s dimensions and aids in road surface visibility. Moving to the rear, it has been similarly updated to incorporate visual elements which align with the legacy design direction, but with a healthy dash of simple modernity and component efficiency. The Land Cruiser Prado has been designed to look masterful wherever you choose to take it.

The all-new Land Cruiser Prado maximises cabin space to make it the ideal seven-seater SUV. Visual support when driving off-road is provided by upgrades to the Multi-Terrain Monitor and Multi-Terrain Select system*. Using high-resolution cameras – with integrated cleaner and a dashboard display – the monitor gives the driver a clear view of the area immediately around and beneath the vehicle. This is all made possible by the centrally mounted 12,3-inch* touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The spare wheel carrier has been moved to below the vehicle for easier access. This allows the rear window glass to double as a hatch for more accessibility.

No matter what the terrain throws at you, Multi-Terrain Select (MTS)* means the Prado is ready to adapt to its conditions at just the flip of a switch. Choose between Rock; Rock and Dirt; Mogul; Loose Rock; and Mud and Sand settings, and handle unpredictability with maximum efficiency. As conditions change, the Multi-Terrain Monitor* is there to help you confirm your outdoor surroundings and check blind spots with front, side and rear cameras. The Multi-Terrain Monitor is automatically displayed on the navigation display in accordance with your chosen MTS mode.

This suite of features includes a Pre-Crash System (Brakes Synchronised), Lane Keeping System, Adaptive All Speed Cruise Control, Adaptive High-beam System. The Land Cruiser Prado is also equipped with Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) for added peace of mind by helping to detect vehicles approaching from either side while reversing, and Hill Assist Control (HAC). A pioneering safety kit in the guise of Safe Exit Assist (SEA) is another noteworthy feature.
